A very nice example of a Brazilian contract Model 1908 rifle with receiver ring marked with the Brazilian crest on top, "MOD. 1908." on right side and "B [serial number] circled B" on left side. The left receiver wall is marked "DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND/MUNITIONSFABRIKEN. BERLIN". Ramped blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters, import marked barrel. Bright bolt assembly and receiver with remaining parts blue. Smooth pistol grip stock with six pointed DWM star (Loewe) cartouche.

Excellent. The rifle retains 97% plus original blue finish showing some very minor thinning. The receiver and bolt assembly retain an attractive bright appearance. The wood is also excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks. The markings are sharp. Mechanically excellent. The sling is good with flex cracking.
