Description:

The Reichs Zeugmeisterei (RZM) served as the quartermasters office of the National Socialists, and later became the chief authority on textiles in the Third Reich. Fixed sights and standard markings, with "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, chamber hood and slide, and the addition of the circular "RZM" logo on the left side of the slide between the model marking and the serrations. Matching numbers inside the slide and on the right side of the frame. Serrated ring hammer, 90 degree safety and checkered streaked brown plastic "WALTHER" banner grips with matching magazine base extension. With an extra flat base magazine, a "D.R.G.M./Akah" marked brown leather flap holster with an American-style web belt hanger tucked into the belt loop and a photocopy of a capture certificate dated July 13, 1945, which identified this pistol by serial number, along with two other pistols and some watches.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing some bright wear along the leading edges, a small amount of brown spotting concentrated on the grip straps and light handling marks overall. Over 90% of the original strong niter blue remains on the extractor and safety. Grips are excellent, with a few hints of verdigris and a hint of bending at the corners. Of particular note is the top of the left side, which lacks the usual chips and scuffing typically seen on 90 degree safety PPKs. Holster is very good, with some scuffs and staining. Mechanically excellent.
