Manufactured in 1928. The slide has the standard two line address/patent dates marking with a Rampant Colt behind the serration of the left side and two line caliber marking on the right. Casehardened grip safety, thumb safety and trigger. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt medallion grips. The Colt factory, maroon hinged lid, box is numbered to the gun. Comes with original hanging tag and a San Fernando Hardware Co. sales receipt for this gun which shows that the gun cost (with tax) $21.60 in 1929.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% plus original blue finish with a very small patch of light pitting on the left side of the slide. The small parts retain nearly all of the original case colors. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Magazine has been refinished. The box is fine with three small holes on top of the lid.
