Manufactured in 1931. Fixed sights with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide and the caliber markings on the right. A matching serial number is stamped around the firing pin hole, with a short milled trigger, arched checkered mainspring housing and checkered grips. The left side of the trigger guard is stamped "1" and "VP", with "60" on the right. With a basket weave pattern brown leather H.H. Heiser flap holster, numbered "537" on the belt loop, with "38/Super" hand-scribed below.

Very fine, with 95% of the slightly faded original blue finish, showing a gray streak on the right side of the slide, spotting concentrated on the upper left side, bright wear along the edges and scattered spotting and handling marks overall. Grips are fine, with a few tiny dings on the sharp checkering. Holster is very fine, with some mild scuffing overall and verdigris around the snap. Mechanically excellent.
