The left side of the receiver is engraved with deer, the right side is engraved with a red stag, the left lock plate is engraved with a dog and the right lock plate is engraved with a fox about to catch a gamebird. There is floral scroll engraving covering the remainder of the receiver and side plates. There is an owl engraved on the trigger plate. Beaded blade front sight and a fixed rear sight with 1 flip up sight leaf. Shotgun barrel is choked full with a 2 9/16 inch chamber. Front set trigger. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with grip cap, raised cheekpiece and a serrated horn buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/8 inches.

Good as refinished, the barrels retain 98% plus of the matte blue finish with some scattered light pitting under the finish. The coin finished components have been polished with the engraving remaining mostly sharp. The refinished stock remains good with scattered dings and scratches along with a crack on the inside of the forearm. Mechanically fine.
