Description:

Manufactured by C.G. King of Boston Massachusetts. The lacquered brass instrument measures approximately 11 inches tall with a 10 inch long telescope and weighs approximately 20 pounds. The silvered compass face is marked "C.G. King/Boston". Complete with a unmarked wooden case with a latched door measuring 13 1/4 inches high x 11 5/8 inches wide x 9 inches deep and the storage base with accessories

Rating Definition:

Fine as restored. The instrument shows some light handling marks and areas of light spotting. The compass face is clear, the optics are foggy. The unmarked case is fair with handling marks, chips and some scratches. The back shows a full width crack. The storage base is good with edge/corner marks and a repaired full width crack. The accessories are very good
