This is a very rare African style, 7mm Remington Magnum model L691 SAKO rifle as manufactured in the 1990s. This beautiful rifle has a rare factory, deep relief, hand carved, pistol grip and forend area stock that features, large Oak leaves, intermixed with both a checkered and stippled back ground around the oak leaves, on the pistol grip and forend. The top of the receiver has the factory grooved scope bases (scope rings not included) with the floor plate, having a silver inlaid antelope head with floral accents. The rifle is stocked in a nice straight grained (for strength) walnut pistol grip with slight tiger stripping in the butt area. It is fitted with a light myrtle wood type contrasting forend tip and grip cap. The grip cap has a silver inlaid oval presentation plate (unmarked), with hallmark proofs on the edge. The stock has a raised cheekpiece and is fitted SAKO marked red rubber recoil pad. With a blue and white Sako box.

Near new with only a few scattered minor handling/storage marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with the label obliterated.
