KENNEDY" ahead of the rear sight. There are no caliber markings, but the barrel gauges at .44 caliber. The serial number is marked on the lower tang. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel forend tip and crescent buttplate with compartment (cleaning rod not included).

Rating Definition:

Very good as partially refinsihed. The rifle retains traces of original blue finish in the protected areas with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. The refinsihed receiver has a few patches of mild pitting with a series of minor scratches below the ejection port. The wood is good with a repaired chip and a hairline crack near the upper tang and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
