Manufactured in 1906 with takedown configuration. German silver blade front sight and semi buck horn sporting rear sight (elevator missing) with full length magazine. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line address/patent date ahead of the rear sight, the Winchester oval proof and "25-20 W.C.F." at the breech, with an additional oval proofmark on top of the receiver. The upper tang is marked with the make/model/trademark marking with the serial number is on the bottom front of the receiver. Smooth forearm with steel end cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
Very good. The rifle retains 20% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The lever retains traces of original case colors. There is some minor spotting and pitting (mostly on the receiver and takedown collar). The wood is very good with some minor dings, scratches and pressure marks along with a few long scratches and a few minor gouges. Mechanically excellent.
