According to the included factory letter, this revolver was shipped to Mass. Arms Co. on October 27th, 1887. It has a nickel finish and features a pinned half-moon blade front sight and small notch rear sight mounted on the barrel latch, correct 1 9/16 inch cylinder, 6 1/2 inch barrel, and is fitted with a pair of smooth pearl grips. The top of the barrel is marked with the address and patent information while the matching serial number is marked on the barrel, barrel latch, cylinder, and butt.

Very fine. The revolver retains 75% plus original nickel finish exhibiting thinning along the high edges with spotting and surface scratches. The cylinder shows a few larger patches of oxidation but retains a strong 60% of the original nickel with a visible drag line. The hammer retains traces of original case colors while the trigger guard has some brown patina. The grips are fine with some aging. Mechanically excellent.
