Description:

Measuring 37 3/4 inches in overall length, with a 26 3/4 inch blade showing a wavy hamon and installed in a shakudo habaki. Squared iron tsuba, with raised and gold accented marsh scenes on the top and bottom. Brown cord wrapped grip, with gold accented fu-dog furniture. The tang is signed on both sides, with 7 figures on the right and 8 on the left, untranslated. With a leather covered saya.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The blade shows a few light chips and areas of spotting, some of which is obscuring the otherwise fine hamon. Fittings are a bit loose, with a brown patina and spotting appropriate to age on the iron components. Saya is fair.
