Description:

Measuring 10 inches overall with the blades out, this pistol is fitted with a round steel barrel, as opposed to the German silver octagonal barrel more commonly seen on Rodgers knife pistols. The blades are both single edged, 3 5/8 inches and 2 inches long, with "JAMES/RODGERS/SHEFFIELD" on the left ricasso of the larger blade. Fitted with a smooth spur trigger, German silver hinge accents and ball container, and smooth horn grips.

Rating Definition:

Good. The steel components show a mixed gray patina, with mild spotting and handling marks overall. The blade are fair, with some chipping and pitting. The grips are good, with a small crack in the left panel and a wooden plug installed in the tweezer slot on the right panel (note: left panel not cut for a bullet mold or other tool). Mechanically very good.
