Manufactured circa 1950-58, this rifle has a dovetailed blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. Has the standard markings and proofmarks and is mounted on a smooth walnut semi-beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated checkered buttplate and a leather sling. This very capable model was once use by various military forces in World War I in Europe and by both law enforcement and outlaws stateside. Members of the posses who hunted down the Dillinger gang and Bonnie and Clyde were reportedly armed with 351 Winchester rifles. Model 1907s can be seen in the hands of the Dillinger gang and law enforcement in several scenes of the 2009 hit film "Public Enemies."

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% of the original finish with some minor scratches, a mark on the receiver on the upper left edge, and some overall light handling/storage marks. The wood is very fine with some small dents, minor dings, and some light handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
