This example has a large amount of beautifully executed floral scroll engraving on the receiver, barrel, floor plate and trigger guard. It has a beaded blade front sight on a ramp and an adjustable rear sight. The top of the receiver is tapped for scope mounting with filler screws in place. The right side of the barrel at the breech end is stamped with the Remington proofmarks and the left side is stamped with the caliber ".375 H&H MAG." Mounted on a custom checkered walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, contrasting grip cap, two reinforcing bolts with contrasting filler plugs, raised cheekpiece and a leather covered recoil pad. Additional information provided by the consignor states that the rifle was engraved by renowned Colt Master Engraver Denise Therion at the request of celebrated firearms expert and author Mr. R.L. Wilson. This was Mr. Wilson's personal African safari gun from which he took many trophies.

Very fine as custom embellished, the blued components retain 90% original blue finish with some scattered wear. The engraving is all cut through the finish with a brown patina on the exposed steel. The floor plate and trigger guard retain 30% of the original black anodized finish with the natural silver color of the aluminum showing on the engraved sections. The custom stock is very good with scattered scratches, dings and some minor chips.
