Description:

A variant of the Government Model Pistol with the design licensed from Colt by the Norwegian government, continued to be produced for the occupying forces and the Quisling Regime following the Nazi invasion in 1940. Fixed sights with the Nazi "WaA84" and Kongsberg "crown/K." stamps on the left side around the one-line caliber and model markings, "B" on top behind the rear sight and "1945" on the right. Matching partial numbers are present on the trigger, slide stop, both safeties and the mainspring housing. An unmarked blue finished magazine and a black leather gun belt rig consisting of a triple-magazine pouch, flap holster, and a "Sam Brown" style belt with shoulder strap. A similar rig can be seen on page 79 of Jan Still's "Axis Pistols Volume II", being worn by a Kriegsmarine man who reportedly captured it in the aftermath of the Battle of Narvik.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus of the original phosphate finish with scattered scratches, edge wear and patches of brown patina. Grips are excellent with pressure dents and scuffs. The later production leather is very good with some light wear and scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
