Manufactured in 1905. The top of the barrel has the three-line address/patent dates, "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side and the Rampant Colt is on the left rear of the frame. The serial number is on the butt and the matching assembly number "1039" is marked on the cylinder release, frame and crane. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, nickel finish with niter blue hammer (polished sides), trigger and screw heads, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" and the Rampant Colt in a circle at the top.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% original nickel finish with some minor flaking and spotting on the cylinder. 99% of the original bright niter blue finish remains on the hammer, trigger and screw heads, showing some mild cycling wear on the left upper side of the trigger. The grips are excellent with very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
