Made in 1945. Fixed sights, with "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and "P" on the slide, Atwood-inspected frame with "NO." style serial number, stamped trigger, thin checkered hammer, serrated slide catch, checkered thumb safety, serrated arched mainspring housing, Keyes Fiber grips, and a High Standard barrel. With a 42 dated Boyt brown leather holster with tie-down thong.

Very fine as refurbished, with most of the Arsenal type finish, showing some bright wear along the high edges, mild handling marks, and a few small dings on the slide. Grips are very good, with some mild pressure dents. Holster is very good, with some minor scuffs and verdigris. Mechanically excellent.
