Early World War II 1943 Production U.S. National Postal Meter M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine

"MN" marked blade front sight and "RN" 2-leaf rear sight, an Underwood barrel dated "1-43", Type I "UN" barrel band, flat bolt marked "N", "9", milled "N9" marked trigger guard, "Dog leg" hammer push button safety, "MN" magazine catch and "N 9" marked operating rod. High wood stock with a 2-rivet handguard, oval oiler cut, "TRIMBLE/TN" in the sling cut, "TN" marked tan canvas sling and checkered buttplate. With one magazine marked "MN" and a green canvas sling.

ConditionFine (original World War II spec.) with 60% of the much faded, original parkerized finish, showing some bright wear along the high edges, a few areas of brown spotting and minor handling marks. The bolt retains traces of the original blue. The reoiled stock is very good with some dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
