Manufactured in Japan by Miroku to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Theodore Roosevelt's 1909 African safari. Standard markings and features of this commemorative pair. There were only 1,000 of these sets made. Includes a box numbered to the gun and picture sleeve. The rifles are complete in a canvas covered commemorative case containing a copy of "African Game Trails" written by Theodore Roosevelt. The case also includes the manuals for both rifles, two gun locks, and case keys. Numbered consecutively to item B of this lot.

Near new in original box with 99% plus original finish and only minimal collector type handling marks. The box is very good with some storage wear showing on the ends and corners. Mechanically excellent.
