Manufactured in 1906, this revolver was subsequently custom engraved and features floral style scroll pattern engraving with punch dot background on the barrel, ejector housing, cylinder and back strap. The top of barrel is marked with the one line address, "45 COLT" on the left side and the two line, and three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The underside of the barrel is marked "BJ" (possibly the engravers initials). It has matching remarked serial numbers, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and is fitted with smooth grips.

Fair as custom embellished and refinished. At least 95% of the blue finish remains showing some light wear on the front strap and some minor pitting under the finish on the barrel and front sight. Most of the case colors remain on the frame and hammer with areas that have silvered out on the frame. The grips are excellent with a tiny chip on the left toe. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
