Manufactured in 1937 (receiver). It is chambered in the desirable 9mm or 9 x 57 Mauser. Hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight on a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory style proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is tapped for scope mounting at the front and sight mounting on the left rear side with cloverleaf tang. Polished bolt numbered to gun, solid bolt knob, pre-war safety and sling swivels. The pistol grip stock features checkering and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retain nearly all of the blue finish with the bolt handle thinning to a gray. The stock is fine with crudely cut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
