Manufactured in 1955 (receiver). It is chambered in .358 Winchester, a caliber cataloged from 1955-1958. The barrel was manufactured without sights and is marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory style oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun, hallow bolt knob and late safety. The high comb pistol grip stock features checkering, sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks with pitting under the finish (receiver and bolt handle). The stock is very fine with a few minor pressure dents and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
