Manufactured in 1951 (receiver). It is chambered in 250-3000 Savage, a caliber Winchester introduced in 1937 to its line of Model 70s before discontinuing the caliber in 1949. Hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight on a barrel stamped with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory style oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting with a straight tang. Polished bolt, solid bolt knob, late safety and sling swivels. The pistol grip stock features checkering and a checkered buttplate.

Very fine as refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is very fine with a few minor handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
