Smooth straight grip stock, with three barrel bands on the forearm, "C.S.A./1861" painted on the left side of the stock next to a Confederate flag, "TEXAS" on the right next to a Lone Star flag and steer head, and an "M" marked buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, showing an even mix of 50% blue and a brown patina on the barrel, with light handling marks and spotting. Frame is good, with silvering along the edges and some strong color. Stock is fine, with an overcoat of varnish with the attractive decoration, showing scattered storage marks and scratches overall. Mechanically excellent.
