Manufactured in early 1931. There is a Lyman Globe front sight installed, there are two scope blocks near the breech end of the barrel mounted with a "J. UNERTL" adjustable scope, with screw in metal caps, and no rear sight. Mounted on the first style smooth walnut pistol grip stock, with fire blue barrel bands, sling swivels, and a checkered steel buttplate.

Fine as partially refinished, with 80% original finish, some light handling marks, and minor spotting on right side breach area of the receiver. Two scratches on the left side of barrel, forward of the forearm. Bolt handle knob has aged to a uniform grey patina, consistent with handling and usage. Stock and forearm are both very good, as sanded and revarnished, with only minor pressure indentations, and a high gloss finish. Mechanically excellent.
