Manufactured in 1891 (First Model solid receiver) and subsequently restored many years later. Blade front and notch rear sights with the top barrel flat marked with the two line address and "22 SHORT." The upper tang is marked with the three line model/patent marking. Blue finish with nickel plated frame, bolt and buttplate. Nicely figured smooth walnut straight grip stock and 12 groove forearm.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue and nickel finish showing a few light scratches. The wood is very fine with a couple barely noticeable hairline cracks near the upper tang and a few minor pressure dents near the stock toe.
