Manufactured in 1935 (receiver). Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sight with the left barrel flat having the Winchester legend, custom made matted top barrel flat and upper right barrel flat having the two line address. It is chambered in 22 Long Rifle, a scarce caliber for Model 61s. A Winchester factory style oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. Nickel plated frame, action bar and magazine with remaining metal surfaces having a blue finish. Nicely figured pistol grip stock and forearm featuring checkering, a Winchester hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally custom refinished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue/nickel finishes showing the slightest handling mark. The wood is near mint with a crudely cut forearm. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
