Manufactured in 1948 (receiver). Dovetail front and elevation adjustable rear sight on a barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side. A Winchester factory style oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. The nicely figured forearm and pistol grip stock feature checkering and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally custom refurbished/restored/remarked. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The wood is near mint with the forearm showing some carving imperfections. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
