Description:

According to factory records (photocopy of letter included) this revolver was shipped to Schoverling, Daly and Gale on April 17, 1889. Fixed sights, with the Maltese cross and two line address/patent markings on top of the rib, matching numbers on the barrel, latch, cylinder and butt, casehardened hammer and trigger guard, and a pair of checkered walnut grips. The inside of the left grip strap is stamped "960" indicating the revolver went back to the factory in September of 1960 along with a five point factory re-work star.

Rating Definition:

Very good as factory refinished with 98% of the nickel finish, showing some light handling marks and a small amount of pitting, concentrated on the barrel latch. Traces of bright case color are present on the trigger guard. Grips are very good, with a small chip absent from the top of the left panel and some minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
