Description:

Manufactured circa 1886-1913, using entirely pre-1899 frames. Fixed sights, with the two-line address and patent markings on top of the rib, S&W logo on the right side of the frame, and matching numbers on the barrel, barrel catch, cylinder and butt. Fitted with a casehardened hammer and trigger, blue trigger guard and checkered brown S&W logo grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original nickel finish, showing areas of exposed gray and brown steel, scattered spotting and flaking particularly on the barrel address and light handling marks. Bright case colors are present on the hammer and trigger, with 40% of the original blue on the trigger guard. Grips are very good, with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
