Constructed from brass overall, the instrument measures 20 3/4 inches long and 8 1/2 inches tall with a detachable scope fitted with an integral spirit level and fine adjustment knobs mounted to a traversing, level-adjustable base. With a hardwood case bearing labels from W. & L.E. Gurley.

Good overall. The brass components show a fine aged patina. The spirit level is in good order and all knobs are mobile. Optics are fair with some light spotting, and the crosshairs are in good order. The case is good with mild wear and detached carry straps.
