Manufactured in 1937, this rifle has a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sporting sight. Mounted with the short 10 groove ribbed forearm and a straight grip stock with checkered plastic buttplate. The two line address and patent pending markings are on the right side of the barrel while the model and caliber designations are on the left side. The serial number is stamped on the lower tang and the bottom of the frame where it is also followed by an "A". Includes a Winchester Model 62 factory box with unclear serial number marking.

Very fine. The rifle retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some slide wear and a minor patch of brown patina/oxidation on the right side of the frame as well as some minor scratches and edge wear. The wood is also very fine with only a few minor scratches and some otherwise faint handling/storage marks. Mechanically excellent with clear markings. The box is well worn but complete.
