Manufactured in 1901, this is a beautiful example of a Steve Moeller restored Winchester Model 1890 with the desirable casehardened receiver and chambered in 22 short caliber. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line address ahead of the rear sight and "22 SHORT" at the breech. The upper tang is marked "WINCHESTER/-MODEL 1890-/Pat. JUNE 26. 88. DEC. 6.92." and the serial number is on the lower tang. The barrel is fitted with fixed front blade sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. Casehardened hammer, receiver and buttplate with blue finish on the remaining metal surfaces. Fitted with a 12 groove walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Professionally restored to near mint condition by Steve Moeller with only slight handling/storage marks. Action is excellent. An exceptionally nice restored Winchester Model 1890 with the desirable casehardened receiver and 22 short chambering.
