The receiver is a late production example. Blade front and elevation screw adjustable rear sight with the upper left barrel flat having the Winchester legend and matte top flat. A Winchester factory style oval proof on the barrel and frame. Upper tang has the three line trade mark information. Blue custom made barrel and magazine (with triangle loading port) with remaining metal surfaces nickel plated. Highly figured straight grip stock and forearm with checkering and crescent buttplate.

Very fine as professionally custom barreled/refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue and nickel finish showing the slightest handling marks. The wood is near mint with a couple minor handling marks with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
