Jules Moigniez (Fr 1835-1894) Tremendous, massive, and impressive silvered bronze sculpture of an eagle alighting on a tree stump. Highly intricate feathering on the eagles upturned wings, as the eagle grasps the tree limb with one talon while the other is outstretched. The tree trunk base has an intricate Fluer-De-Lis design surrounding the circular base, resting on a custom multifaceted 2 inch thick circular, black marble plinth. The eagle is signed "Moigniez" on the base. Dimensions are as follows 20x24x46 inches. A very impressive eagle for a discriminating collector
