Antoine Louis Barye (Fr: 1796-1875). Two tall unusual pair of deer head vases. These urns/vases have the bust of 2 multi-pointed horns encircling the upper bulbous vase that has an interlocking twig branch base and an upper rim acanthus rim. The pair of urns is signed on the bottom of the bases; Barye. Dimensions are as follows 11x10x19 inches each. Approximate weight 20 lbs each.

Very good, finish is a natural bronze with contrasting light and dark spaces to add depth.
