Single bead sight on a concave solid matte rib gold marked "DAMAS CROLLE" designating the Damascus pattern on the barrels as an English pattern. The barrels feature 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. Blue finish and fine scroll engraved break lever and trigger guard. Fine scroll engraved and relief chiseled casehardened frame with cocking indicators. Select walnut straight grip stock with fine checkered forearm and wrist, scroll relief carved side flats, sling swivels, tang safety, double triggers and skeleton metal buttplate with checkered wood. The length of pull is 14 inches, and the barrels are choked cylinder/cylinder.

Fine as period refurbished. The barrels retain virtually all of the refinished Damascus pattern with some minor traces of smooth dark patina in the protected areas. The buttplate, trigger guard and break lever retain approximately 97% of the blue finish with some minor spotting. The buttplate checkered insert has a smooth brown patina with a few minor dents in the mostly sharp checkering. Overall, there is some pin prick pitting. The frame exhibits a mix of smooth brown and gray patina, with limited traces of faint case color in the protected areas. The forearm components retain some strong traces of bright case color in the protected areas. The refinished wood is very good with the forearm having some minor dings, scratches, mild chips, and worn checkering. The buttstock exhibits some minor dings, a few mild dents, a few mild chips near the upper tang and a slightly oversized buttplate. The wrist checkering is sharp. The carving is clear and sharp. The engraving is clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
