A) Engraved German Otto Bock Drilling Shotgun/Rifle

Description:

Blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight. The matte rib is marked with "Otto Bock, Berlin Kunigl: Hoflilterant", caliber markings and commercial proofs near the breech, leaf engraving, and "PRIMA WITT NER STAHL" across the chambers. The action is nickel finished with spiral pattern scroll engraving, a tang mounted selector for the rifle barrel, dual triggers with single set front trigger, and a button for the right shotgun barrel. It is mounted with a checkered pistol grip stock with a smooth forearm, horn grip insert, right handed shadow-line cheekpiece, sling swivels and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished with 98% of the blue finish, some minor handling marks and a few very small patches of spotting. The action is good with hints of sub-surface pitting and mild handling marks. The stock is good as refinished with a few filled sections, missing chips, scratches and pressure dents. It is mechanically very good.



B) Engraved St. Etienne Double Barrel Side by Side Shotgun with Sling

Description:

This shotgun has a single nickel bead sight on the matte rib with the makers marks on either side and a casehardened action with "IDEAL" stamped on the underside and extensive scroll and floral pattern engraving. It also has dual triggers, each with their own guard, and the break lever behind them. It is mounted with a smooth straight grip stock with a small initial shield on the comb, serrated butt, and a retractable black sling. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished showing 98% of the current blue with some mild handling marks overall and some dings on the barrel under the blue. The sling swivel on barrel has been crudely reattached. There are bright case colors on the frame with minor wear. The stock is good with a thin crack in the left side of the butt, minor chipping around the lock, and scattered pressure dents. The action is excellent.
