Pre-war quality cap with body of blue grey wool, black mohair cap band, white wool piping, orange colored lining, full celluloid sweat shield with Lubstein makers mark, size 59 and dated 1938. Full leather sweatband stamped on the interior for issue to the Regiment General Goring, a former Prussian Police unit that Goring took with him to the Luftwaffe. Fitted with an early stamped aluminum Luftwaffe eagle droop tail insignia and cockade original to the cap and leather chinstrap. Complete and fully intact.

Excellent with only the slightest of handling marks.
