Description:

Typical Regiment Six style camouflage, with a mix of tan and green paint blended with sawdust for texture on the exterior. The helmet has all four spanner bolts and nuts present. The helmet liner is leather with a black rubber pad made by Kerl Heisler Berlin and is a size 58. The inside lining of the helmet is stamped "ET68" with Lot number "1922". The helmet also includes a light gray leather chin harness. This helmet is also named and marked to the 2nd Komp., which was part of the 1st Battalion in the Regiment 6 Division located in the Normandy/Carentan area. This unit suffered horrible losses with over two-thirds being destroyed by the American 101st Airborne Division shortly after the Normandy landings.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The helmet retains 75% of the camouflage paint finish. The leather liner is very good with minor wear and handling marks. The black rubber helmet liner pad is very hard.
