This is a very desirable early pre-WWII Walther Model PP pistol in 22 LR caliber, that is complete with the original matching Walther box. The left side of the slide has the standard: "WALTHER" inside a banner, followed by the standard two-line: "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella Mehlis (Thur) over Walther's Patent Cal 22 MOD PP". The right side of the slide, frame and barrel have the early Commercial "Eagle N" proofs with the six digit, serial number on the frame vertically behind the trigger. It has fixed sights, the later 90 degree safety. It is fitted with the black checkered plastic grips that has the "Walther Banner" at the top of each grip panel. It is complete with one original Walther magazine with the black finger extension base, the original pre-WWII Walther marked, wood-grain box that is serial numbered on the front to the pistol, (matching), a spare unmarked Walther 22LR magazine with the flat base, three old RWS, 22 LR (non-firing/dud) cartridges, and the small Walther marked tin box, with the horse hair brush and small glass vial inside and the original Walther instruction manual.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish overall with just a hint of edge wear here and there with some very minor edge wear on the front ends of the slide. The grips are also in excellent condition with no visible wear. Mechanically excellent. The box is in about good condition with nice markings with the corners of the lid broken out, with scuffs and wear on the edges overall. The accessories and manual are all in excellent condition. A very nice example of a pre-WWII Walther Commercial PP pistol in 22LR.
