Manufactured circa 1942-1943. Blade front and drift adjustable rear sights, with "PROPERTY OF U.S.A." on top of the barrel, "U.S. PROPERTY (double struck)" and the crossed cannon Ordnance cartouche on the right side of the frame, and the standard markings on the left side of the frame and slide. Fitted with a serrated trigger and safety and checkered "HS" imprint grips.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the bright original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, mild spotting on the balance and scattered handling marks. The grips are excellent, with a few light dents and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
