The Winchester oval proof is on the barrel. The lower tang has the serial number and an "A" with the trade mark information on the upper tang. The frame is marked "U.S./flaming bomb" between the upper tang and the hammer. It is fitted with a straight grip stock, a crescent buttplate, and forearm with grooves.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The musket is as unissued with 97% of the original finish remaining and some finish faded or worn on the aperture sight and the buttplate and overall a few minor marks and scratches. The stock and forearm are both excellent with only a few minor dents/dings on the right side of the butt and a few minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
