Description:

This is an early example of the SR-25 semi-automatic rifle as Designed by Reed Knight. These rifles used the Stoner gas system like the M16 family of rifles, only in 7.62 NATO. Introduced in 1990, the SR-25 serves as the basis for the U.S. Army M110; and U.S.M.C. Mk 11 Mod 0 sniper rifles. These have the same configuration, safety and handling techniques as the M16/M4 and it is fitted with a heavy free-floating target weight barrel with a low profile front gas block. The upper receiver and handguard also has the full-length Mil-Std 1913, Picatinny rail on top for mounting sights, with three additional rails on the other sides of the handguard. The top rail has a folding rear back up sight with a front sight that folds down into the front end of the rial. The lower receiver has the makers marks (KAC) on the magazine well has the standard, fixed plastic M16A2 fixed plastic buttstock with butt trap storage compartment. It includes one detachable sling swivel, three rail covers, one 20 round magazine, the factory test target, a detailed operators manual and an original Weapons record book, indicating it has fired a total of 57 rounds during factory sighting/test firing.

Excellent to like new condition with 99% of the original factory finish overall. A super nice early SR-25 rifle with an excellent test target.
