Issued by The American Historical Foundation, this rifle has a highly polished nickel plate finish with contrasting matte finish front sight and flash suppressor. Rear sight is a fully adjustable two aperture style sight in the same matte finish. The right side of the receiver is adorned with scrollwork, Rampant Colt and "The Showcase Edition One of One Hundred". The composite buttstock, grip and forend have been treated with a textured black finish. There is a stock medallion engraved with "The Best Individual Infantry Weapon Ever Made, The Showcase Edition, Colt" and "One of One Hundred 014/100". Two 20 round Colt magazines are included along with a nylon sling. Includes a plexiglass front walnut display case with fitted black velour interior and label.

Near new in factory display case with 99% plus original finish and minimal storage marks. The case is excellent with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
