The left side of the slide is marked "NATIONAL/*MATCH* COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER.45" followed by the Rampant Colt, the right side of the slide is marked with the one line address and the serial number is marked on the right side of the frame. Blade front and adjustable Elliason target rear sights skeletonized wide serrated trigger with stop adjustment, blue magazine marked with the Rampant Colt, "C" and "COLT/45 AUTO/8-RD" on the bottom, bright barrel marked "COLT 45 AUTO. N.M." on the breech and fitted with checkered walnut grips with gold medallions. Comes with the correct box hand numbered to the gun on the end, two extra Colt marked 45 caliber blue magazines and a complete 22 conversion kit in a two piece woodgrain box, 4 Colt marked 22 caliber magazines. Colt advertised the Gold Cup National Match as probably the finest 45 target pistol in the world.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus original blue finish with some minor edge wear, small area of wear on the right side of the slide and a few minor scuffs and scratches. The grips are also excellent with a bruise on the upper right side, light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent. The conversion kit is also excellent with 98% original blue finish showing some normal cycling wear and dull areas. All of the magazines are excellent. The conversion kit box is good with some heavy edge wear on the box, and some minor edge wear and a few scuffs on the lid. The pistol box is good overall with separated corners, a nearly separated flap, water stains and material loss on the lid. The box shows some heavy wear on the interior, otherwise very good.
