The barrel is numbered to a different gun (129223). The water table has the 1887 and 1889 patent dates with "3" over the serial number over "D". The casehardened action features a scroll engraving with a dog and "PARKER BROS" in a banner on each side and game birds on the underside. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the barrels and has the 1878 patent date on the hardware. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, initial oval, and checkered steel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. Includes brown leather mutton case.

Good overall, with a smooth grey/brown patina, barrels show signs of uneven cold bluing and cleaning, the Damascus watering is only faintly visible. Action shows faint traces of color case hardening, primarily in protected areas. Stock shows evidence of some refinishing, with some minor pressure indentations, and depressed checkering. Case is good, with multiple abrasions, and one broken attaching loop for the carry handle. Mechanically excellent.
