Manufactured between 1908 and 1918. This desirable combination gun comes with the original sale receipt from Von Lengenke & Detmold, dated May 1909. Blade front sight, folding notch rear sight and a peep sight mounted on the frame behind the hammer. The caliber marking, "CALIBER 22 & 44", is on the upper right side of the chamber block "-MANUFACTURED BY THE-/MARBLE SAFETY AXE CO./-GLADSTONE, MICH.U.S.A.-/MARBLE ARMS & MFG.CO./SUCCESSOR" on the left side and "GAME GETTER" on the frame below. The right side of the frame is marked "PATENT/ALLOWED". Globe type front sight, folding leaf rear sight and tang mounted peep sight. Serrated hammer with mobile striker, checkered hard rubber grips with Marble markings, and a folding steel tube stock, which folds up under the gun for storage. Comes with an original unmarked leather holster and purchase card.

Very good. Much of the thin original blue finish remains on the chamber block with a smooth brown and gray patina on the balance. The grips are also very good with some minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The metal stock retains much of the original nickel plating with some scattered minor pitting on exposed areas. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine. The holster is poor with some heavy wear and cracking, a few tears, some loose stitching and a separated grommet (with the holster).
