Manufactured in 1922. The left side of the slide is marked with the two-block, two-line address and 1897 and 1902 patent dates with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right side. The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame and the left side of the trigger guard bow is marked with the number "1" over the Colt triangle "VP" proof. Blue barrel with bright chamber, casehardened hammer, fixed sights, and fitted with smooth pearl grips with silver Colt medallions. The magazine is absent.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% plus original blue finish with high edge wear, some minor spotting on the grip straps and a few scattered minor dings and scratches. The grips are also excellent with a minor age crack on the upper left panel and a couple minor scuffs. The markings remain sharp. Mechanically excellent.
