This is a like new example of a Barrett M99 single shot "50 BMG" sniper rifle. Barrett Firearms was the leader in developing .50 cal sniper rifles for the U.S. military in the early to mid 1980's. It features a solid one-piece aluminum receiver (to help reduce weight), with a pressed in steel receiver insert that holds the bolt raceway, locking lugs, and the breech-end of the barrel. The action itself is a bull-pup configuration which helped reduce the overall length of the rifle and it is fitted with a solid 35 inch barrel with a muzzle break on the end. The top of the receiver has a 12 inch long integral Picatinny rail. The rifle is fitted with an M60 type folding bi-pod, a black recoil pad and the receiver has been coated/painted a matte black. Included is a Pelican latching hard case, shipping carton numbered to the rifle, and papers.

Near new in hard case, with minimal handling marks, and 99% original finish. Case is excellent, with some minor storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
